It’s a well known fact that women enjoy better rates of car insurance than men. The reason for this can be seen in the type of accidents each sex traditionally has.

As with all insurance you hope you will never need it, but that is a welcome added extra – and it usually covers any unexpected damage to it as well.

It’s plain to see that you have statistics on your side if you are a female driver. You will still end up paying more if you have less experience, but even so you will benefit. It’s important not to assume that every quote will be beneficial though, and you should always make sure that you shop around to get the best rate possible for your needs.

What’s more, you will often find that if you get breakdown cover with your insurance, the waiting time will be shorter than it would be for men.

In general, the car insurance women receive is cheaper than that offered to a man who has been driving for the same length of time. So, make sure you take advantage of all the benefits and opt for insurance that recognises that you are a member of the fairer sex.
